A. J. Burnett (meteorologist)

Andrew John Burnett is a television meteorologist who formerly worked for WFXT FOX25 in the Boston area.

Burnett grew up in Centerville, Massachusetts and graduated in 1992 from Barnstable High School. He then attended and graduated from Rutgers University in 1996 with a B.S. Degree in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences/Meteorology.[1]

He worked as a meteorologist at FOX25 from 2004 until January 2012, although he was a freelance meteorologist for the station from 2000 to 2004.[1] He also reported occasionally and filled in for the other meteorologists.

Burnett is a member of the American Meteorological Society and has held the AMS Television Seal of Approval since 2005.[1]

Burnett volunteers with the Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association where he has served as Honorary Chairperson for the annual 'Make the Link' Golf Tournament since 2006, and was named to Chapter's Advisory Committee in 2009.
